Welcome to 1st grade!! I’m so excited to be a part of your child’s educational journey.

The 2017-2018 school year marks my 4th year in the Burlington Area School District and my 2nd year at Cooper Elementary! I previously taught at Dyer Intermediate, Lyons Center, and 6th grade in Arizona. I feel very fortunate to have worked with such wonderful teachers, staff, students and families, and I look forward to working with you!

I have been married to my husband Chad for 20+ years. We have four children, who are the absolute joy of our lives. Our son, Joshua, graduated high school in 2015 and is working in an apprenticeship program. Our son, Austin, is a new graduate and is headed off to college. Our girls, Alyssa & Trista, keep us very busy with their dance schedules! Alyssa is a Junior and Trista is in 8th grade. We also have two dogs. Foxy is a  Fox Red Lab and Sonday is a Chihuahua-Terrier mix. My babies are Suzie & Charlotte, our Siamese kitties. In my free time, I love spending time with my family! We enjoy camping,  movies, and road trips. I also love to read and organize!

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s learning experience. Teaching brings me such happiness! I just love seeing how much the children learn throughout the school year. I know what a treasure your child is and I thank you for trusting me with her/him each day. I’m looking forward to getting to know each of you! We will have a great year together!
